Medical studies show over 70% of all concussions are never properly identified or treated. Knowing the signs and symptoms of concussions is the first step in identifying concussion injuries.
Many concussion symptoms are also symptoms of other common ailments: balance symptoms could be ear related, mood-swings in young girls maybe female hormone related, attention and focus problems in males may be related to ADHD, just to identify a few.
The traditional medical community over the last 40-years has a track record of almost 50% of the time they miss or improperly diagnose concussions. Parents, trainers, coaches, holistic practitioners, etc. must step-up and stop this epidemic of un-diagnosed and un-treated concussions by the use of proper concussion screening techneques and technology.
